A note from Boost Independent Music: The site is currently undergoing a pretty major overhaul. We are hoping that the new site will be live within about 4-6 weeks. New features of the site will include:
- samples of songs instead of the whole song streaming. Initially we found bands were happy to have their songs be listened to for free in their entirety but we have since discovered that certain new software can enable people to capture (effectively download) music for free so we have changed this. At this stage it will probably be a 30 second sample

there will be a way to contact fans on the new site - we are setting up fan clubs for artists so you will be able to see who has joined and contact them if you like. On the new site listeners or "players" as we call them will also have their own profile pages too

The new site will also feature video clips - bands upload them same as audio and again a sample will play until you purchase

The new site will have much improved genre pages which will let you see the top ten downloads in your favourite genre, what music has been most recently uploaded in your favourite genre etc

The new site will also have featured video and featured artist profiles on the home page - with these featured profiles also appearing on genre specific pages as well
