Ok, I think we have something different here. Magnatune is about selection and higher-quality artists. They say the select about 3 out of every 100 submissions. But after browsing the site, I agree! The music is quality!

A cool feature here is that they allow listeners to license the music as well as purchase it. Note that you can't sell single mp3 tracks, just mp3 albums or physical CDs. Ahh, but if you buy the CD, they'll let you download the album too so you don't have to wait. This profile last updated 2008-06-26.
